Easy Like Sunday Morning….Rachel & Matt tied the knot at Sweet Meadow on a lovely Sunday. Their bridal party enjoyed fishing, a baked potato bar and relaxing in the Farmhouse. Later, their ceremony took place under the Chuppa adorned with giant paper flowers from Wrennwood Design. The apple trees were blooming as well as fields full of purple wildflowers creating a stunning backdrop for photos. Guests enjoyed mingling and dancing after feasting on delicious food from one of our favorites, Simply Catering. It was a simple and intimate day that was full of love for the couple.

Think about all the money (and unruly wedding guests) you’ll save by opting for a mimosa bar instead of a full liquor bar. A mimosa bar stocked with all the champagne you could ever want, classic OJ, and maybe a few other fun fruit flavored juices and you are good to go. Guest’s won’t feel even the least bit slighted and they’ll rave on your uniqueness and creativity. Hakuna Mimosa!
So you’re ready to plan food for your morning wedding. It is completely acceptable to just serve a light bite at a morning wedding. Think about serving up a yogurt bar stocked with local granola, fruit, honey and anything else you can think of! Not only would this be delicious, but guests won’t feel like you cheated them out of a meal, and I assure you that your bank account will thank you. Any kind of a breakfast bar sounds fun to me. Who wouldn’t love an iced coffee bar? Donut bar? Grits bar (for all the Southern brides out there)? The list goes on! You could easily turn any inexpensive food into a cute and fun breakfast bar for your guests. This is a great way to save money without skimping on your vision of your dream wedding!
You can always still serve a full buffet at your morning wedding. Bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits… is your mouth watering yet? Breakfast foods are hard to mess up and universally liked by all, so if you want your food to be a hit, consider a morning wedding.
